GULFMET supports with financial contribution Research and Studies initiatives, A research program has started on November 2017, funded by the GULFMET, with the aim to develop a black body reference cavity, appropriate for calibrating ear thermometers. The calibration capability of ear thermometers does not exist in any of the GULFMET Member Institutes and the program aim is to develop it for all seven Institutes of the Gulf region.
