It is my honor to be a member of the GULFMET, which is an organization that has achieved remarkable milestones. Since gaining international recognition under the CIPM MRA, we have worked tirelessly to establish a robust metrology infrastructure that enhances confidence in our industries and services.
Having made significant strides in publishing our measurement and calibration capabilities, we are committed to further strengthening our metrology infrastructure to support the growing needs of our member states. As we look to the future, we aim to reinforce our position as a leading regional metrology organization by:
1. Expanding our service to meet the evolving needs of our member states.
2. Strengthening international collaboration to foster robust partnerships with international organizations.
3. Promoting and supporting innovation in metrology research and development.
4. Developing human capital to cultivate a highly skilled metrology workforce.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Engineer Amina Al-Bastaki for her exceptional leadership and to all previous presidents of GULFMET. Their contributions have been instrumental in achieving the many accomplishments we celebrate today. The collective efforts of our member states and partners have been pivotal to our success.
